World deletion

I was doing a project for school in minecraft, and my laptop ran flat. When I restarted minecraft, it had updated to 1.18.32, and the world had disappeared. I checked my storage, my files, pretty much every place I could think of, and it wasn't there. Thanks in advance for any solutions.

  I am sorry to hear that the world is not showing. Are you able to roll back your device to an earlier time to see if you can recover those worlds? On Windows devices you would use a restore point to an earlier time which is known to recover some files. Can you clarify what you mean by "ran flat?" Do you have any exports of those worlds you can import? Once a world is deleted or corrupted the resolution for recovering said worlds is low. Let me know your findings.
