Minecarft 1.18.30.0 test vesion behaving weridly

On 22/7/2022 i started up a new world then went to use the /locate command when aceint city showed up. I then enterd the command in the overworld when a sintax massgae showed "not a vaild sturctre in this dimantion." is this a very strange glitch
