Some students cannot join other students' worlds while others can

All of my students are using iPads and Minecraft Education automatically updates to the latest version on all iPads. Almost all students can join each others worlds, but there are 2 students who cannot join anyone except teachers.

Also, randomly a student will not be able to join another student's world and then on another friend's device, it will work. We are all under the same tenant, same version, same port.

  I have seen this happen from time to time. If it is in the latest version 1.17.32, then it happens less. I would recommend that you uninstall, reboot, reinstall, and see if it still happens on those iPads. Is it the same iPads each time? or just 2? And how many players are trying to join one world?

  If you have issues with iPads on iOS 14 or later not being able to join worlds with the "Unable to Join World" message it may be worth checking Settings > Privacy > Local Network and ensure Minecraft has access enabled.
