Students can place blocks but cannot destroy blocks in Survival Mode
My students are using Adventure Mode, and I’m trying to create designated building areas using Allow Blocks. I understand that Allow Blocks should allow students to place and destroy blocks within the designated area. When Ive done that, the students can place blocks but cant destory them. I even switched them to Survival mode and they can only place blocks and cant destroy them. Ive done everything chatgpt could offer but still doesnt work. what should i do?

I was unable to recreate this behavior on our end. I was able to build a box with allow blocks, then remove my world builder permission, and build and destroy block within the enclosed area of allow blocks. I'd be curious as to your setup of allow blocks on your end, can you provide a screenshot of how you have the allow blocks laid out?0 -
That part that intrigued me is that Allow blocks are supposed to let students place and destroy blocks. So if they can place blocks but not destroy them, it sounds like there is something else on the world that is stopping them. If this issue happens in other worlds as well this is likely a Minecraft Education Edition bug. But if it doesn't there is something on that specific world blocking it. Minecraft Education's documentation states that Allow Blocks are intended to permit both building and destroying, while Immutable World can prevent players from destroying blocks.
