Minecraft education being confused about what I am using.

Minecraft education thinks that I'm on a controller or a touchscreen computer, but I use a chromebook that does not allow touchscreen at all. what is the problem with this? I have played Minecraft education for 5 years now and this happened recently. can you solve it at all?
