Connection issue iPad to Surface Pro
Hi, a tutor is hosting a world on her Surface Pro, and none of the students on iPads can connect. If she hosts on an iPad they can. What could be causing this?

Typically it could be a couple of things:
1. Check to make sure that all the devices are on the same network.
2. Check to make sure each of the devices is running the same version of Minecraft Education (you can see the version number at the bottom right of the title screen.
3. Make sure all your devices have the most recent OS updates, and shutdown and power on the devices again.
I find I have the most difficulty with hosting when I have multiple platforms involved. You could also try joining by IP if you haven't already tried that.

Hi Scott Middleton, Dani Noble has the right of it here! Also check to make sure those students have "Local Network Access" enabled for Minecraft: Education Edition in the iPad's privacy settings.

Thanks all, it seems the users surface device is now on a different SSID to the iPads.
