Doing Pre-Built Lessons with an Entire Class?
I am trying to do lesson 1, unit 1 of Coding FUNdamentals with my students. However, when they do the lesson, many of them are not changing their settings from creative to adventure, and so are not completing the lesson or doing things that they shouldn't. If I send a link for students to join my world, then I can control their permissions, but they won't be able to complete the lesson, will they? Isn't it set up for an individual to complete? (So, for example, if a student completes the first section where they look at gold blocks, won't all students have access to move on to the next step after the first student looks at the gold blocks, rather than each individual student having to look at the blocks?)
If this is the case, and I must, therefore, have each student load their own individual version of the world, then is there any way I can stop them from having creative mode on? I love this lesson, but am struggling to implement it.

You can host the world and restrict them until they complete the tasks that are outlined in the lesson. So, you are correct in saying that once one student looks at the gold blocks the path will open for all. You can manage this by checking with each student's agent to make sure they complete the task and once one completes it, they can roam around until the class is finished. Once whole class finishes the task you teleport all students together and then move on to the next task together.
