Still can't remove shield!

I tried everything to remove my shield, I tried leaving my world, closing minecraft, but nothing works! Please help...

  Strange. Have you changed your skin while restarting? It worked to me.

  You can check the Bedrock bug database for this to see if they get a resolution. The only other current workaround we have is to change your skin which should remove the shield. https://bugs.mojang.com/projects/MCPE/issues/MCPE-152071?filter=allissues

  What you could do is that you type /remove shield after it removes the shield that's the only easiest way to do it.

  I found with this bug you can use the /clear command.

  clear [player: target] [itemName: Item] [data: int] [maxCount: int]

  So for the shield it would be something like /clear playername shield

  This clears the shield completely from the player (inventory as well) so you would need to use the /give command to give the shield back to the player.

  give <player: target> <itemName: Item> [amount: int] [data: int] [components: json]

  So it would be something like /give playername shield

  The shield should then able able to be equipped and unequipped (I think).
