Older Imac problems with high sierra ...ME 1.17.30 will not run..solution
I have 12 older 2011 Imacs at my school ..we were running ME 1.14.70...so fresh installed ME1.17.30 on them BUT they wont run the program at all...could ME 1.17.31 solve this problem perhaps?Should I revert to ME 1.14.70 ? where to find the the Dmg for that version is my first question.
I tried mac reverting one 2011 Imac back to ME 1.14.70 and joining a world using a newer Imac with ME 1.17.30 ...it could see the world and join but then it just went to the downloading resources screen running it non-stop... i.e game over ..close the app .Perhaps If I run ME 1.14.70 on a new imac as host for a world then the others older Imacs (ME1.14.70) would be able to join the world and other more modern Imacs running ME1.17.30 could join as well? what do you think ?
Thanks.

Also running High Sierra and have spent the last hour and a half trying to make the download of 1.17.31 work. It just won't open. Siblings are running newer macs and are running 1.17.30 fine. Do I need to revert all kids to older minecraft education editions so they can play in a world together? They won't be pleased.
Is there a fix to make 1.17.31 work on High Sierra so that all 4 siblings can play together? Or will they all need to run 1.14.70 until a fix is made?

Currently there is no fix other than having the High Sierra Macs running the 1.14 client. The engineering team is working on this but no ETA to give. You can have the older client computer host the world and see if there are any problems with the newer machines connecting. If problems do start to occur, then I would recommend having all of them on the same client version 1.14.
