Installation keeps failing - problem with installer package

I've downloaded the latest installer - MinecraftEducationEdition_x86_1.17.30.52

When I run it it works properly almost all the way to the end. But then it shows me this message and runs back the installation:
"There is a problem with this windows installer package.
A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor"

Can any one assist please?

  So, try this direct link https://aka.ms/downloadmee to download Minecraft Education and install it. Let us know if this resolves your issue.

  Quick question, what operating system are you trying to install Minecraft on?
