cant sign in with out it restarting

when i press sign in it takes me back to the red minecraft screen again and again

  I'm sorry, that sounds frustrating. When you are on the sign-n screen, what version does it say you are on? What kind of device are you using? Thanks, we'd like to help!

  Same for me...

  I am on chromebook 

  the version of the game is 1.14.70

  Hi Ludovic Lévesque, 

  On Chromebooks, the first things I would check is that the OS is up to date. 

  Click on the clock>Settings>About Chrome OS and click "Check for Updates". Restart when prompted. If it is up to date, I would try shutting down the unit completely from the clock menu, and turning it back on again.

  it says beta 1.17.30.2 but my chrome os is up to date
