1.17 beta chromebook update

So pretty much as a rundown, I'm already in the beta test group for education edition on the play store. Chromebook is on 91.0.4472.167, I have plenty of storage space, I've re-installed the game several times and un-enlisted and reenlisted in the beta too. the game still says it's in v1.14.70 too. restarting my Chromebook also did nothing. the play store also hasn't updated the game at all

  im on a school chrombook and i am trying to get it from the minecraft education edition download page, but i dont see where i can download it at

  do you know how to get minecraft ee on school chromebook from the download page?

  you need to do it on the google play store pretty sure, and you find that by pressing the search key on the left of your keyboard and finding the play store
