Unable to join worlds

Hello, our students are no longer able to join worlds with each other or the teacher. Could this be related to any updates or is there something in the settings that might have changed?

  Hey Kathleen, 

  To help us break down the issue, can you check the following?

   

  1. Are you using any proxies or filters (i.e. Web Filtering)? If so, can you confirm that you've allow listed all required URLs and added all Firewall exclusions?

  2. Does this occur in a specific world or lesson? This can help determine any world specific things that might cause issues.

  3. Can you ensure that all installations of Minecraft Education are up to date? All players are required to be running the same version of Minecraft Education to play together.

  4. To assist you further, can you provide me a screenshot of the error you're receiving? Having this visual information allows us to investigate this issue more effectively and provide you a faster resolution. Be sure to obscure any personal information as this is a public forum!!! If needed, we can also make this into a ticket :)
