Hey Samuel,
Error 1001 is a bit of a generic code. However here's a few things to try:- Try signing in under another Windows User.
- If one doesn't exist you can follow these steps to create a new one:
- Open the Start Menu and go to Settings.
- Select Accounts, then Family & other users.
- Click on “Add account” under the “Other users” section.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add a new user.
- You can select "I don't have this users information" to create a local account
- After you create this user, switch to their sign in, and try to sign into the app under that user.
- If one doesn't exist you can follow these steps to create a new one:
- Try a clean reinstall of the app Clean Reinstall Minecraft Education on PC
- If you have any AV programs installed, try temporarily disabling them. Additionally, ensure that nothing is blocking the URLs Used by Minecraft Education including firewalls, parental controls, or other types of proxies or filters. Some home routers do have their own built in firewalls that can block our services. While rare, its a good thing to check for.
Let us know if you have any additional questions, or concerns!
Thank you!0 - Try signing in under another Windows User.
