code stops working

i've noticed that if the code is too complex or has been running for too long, it stops the code and acts like you've turned it off. sometimes the code starts up again but most of the time it doesn't.

  I have this problem regularly on my Mac, and my students (only rarely but it does happen) on their gaming PCs.
  Usually a restart of Minecraft or the computer sets everything right.
