Agent Not Responding in Lessons
Hello,
Many of my students are trying to do Minecraft Lessons in the Coding Fundamentals Part 1 section (lessons 1-5). At different parts of the lessons, the agent stops responding to any code. I've spent a long time looking for a fix to this, but have not been able to find anything reliable. Things we've tried/considered:
1) Clearing local cache in Minecraft (this has worked sometimes, but not reliably and not often)
2) Clearing local cache (deleting and renaming) in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp.
3) Saving/exiting and re-opening the world
4) Starting over lessons/worlds (eventually this happens again)
5) Restarting the computer
6) We cannot kill the agent because we cannot enable worldbuilder in any of the lesson worlds. We CAN enable worldbuilder in custom worlds that aren't library lessons. Cheats are activated in each of the lesson worlds.
I haven't found anything in common between their laptops except that they're the same model, but I don't think this is the issue because this seems to be a random issue even among these laptops.
I do have a different model of laptop for my classroom and this issue does NOT occur on them.
I don't believe it would be a network issue because the agent responds to code on some of our computers regardless of the model.
They're on Windows 11 and running MC Edu v.1.21.06 if that helps.
Thank you ahead of time!
*Note: I'm so sorry this is such a long post but I'm desperate for a fix at this point as my students love doing this but these kind of issues are real problems for my classes.
