Unable to join worlds
I have been trying to share worlds with my students and only one could get in after trying for 45 minutes. They are all working from home. We tried restarting. What could be the problem?

You likely will need to open port 19132 on your computer to allow for students to access it from different networks.

Thank you! We will try this today!

Since the last update, I had so many connection problems. Sometimes, even after both rebooting, it's not working even if in the previous version they were able to connect to my worlds every time.

Did you try opening the port? I also suggest going directly to the shared world 1st before trying anything else. It finally worked for me today.

Port forwarding is the way. Your router interface may look different from mine, but it's the same concept:

I have students who can access other worlds some of the time but not all of the time. Do you think that the port fix will help for this or is this a separate issue?

Yes -- the port forwarding fix will help students connect to each other from their individual homes as well.
This is all assuming they have the same version of the game, of course.

I'll try it next week, but why was it working before the update and not aynymore, that is what is strange about it.

That is strange. I had more network connection problems BEFORE the latest version! Lots of variables, I suppose.
