Hacking
Any ideas about how to stop students from hacking in a hosted world? Or be able to prove who is hacking?

Beth, this sounds strange. Do you mean you have students that are not yours that are joining your games?

No, a student who is allowed but is using hacks such as a bow accuracy hack.

Beth,
You can do a few things. If you turn off player vs player damage in the classroom settings then the arrows will do nothing. You can also clear the bow from everyone's inventory:
/clear @a bow

Thanks! it is a PvP world for kids to have fun during Monday lunchtimes. I've gone the clear bow route. I've set up a command block to clear bows from the offending player's inventory at intervals. We'll see how it goes. Thanks for the idea :)

I like that idea as it will frustrate them. After reading up on what you are describing it might be a student who is using the command block and a really long script. There are various youtube videos with different methods. The best way to figure out who is doing it is to go to each kids computer, open the chat/command box and click the up arrow a few times to cycle through the commands they are using. You may eventually find the kid who is using a function to trigger the command block they made.
