Kids keep getting kicked off Minecraft education
My class can't keep on the same server for more than a couple of minutes, they always get kicked off. Is there a quick fix for this?
Thanks

Hi there Colin Josephson. I'm sorry to hear about the trouble regarding students staying connected. I recommend taking a look at the following guides:

Even following the troubleshooting guide, I still experience the same issue as Colin. It seems to have coincided with the latest update.

Hi, Bob McLoughlin That's no fun! Just to be sure, can I double check a few things?
Are your students each signing in on their own unique accounts? They are able to get into a world by themselves, but joining is the problem? Everyone is in the same location on the same network? Similar devices?
I find the most likely source of these problems is my ISP. We have unexpected issues, and the someone walks down from upstairs and shows me the traffic report on our network, and there are small brief interruptions in our network connections coming to our location. I don't know of you have access to this data, but it's worth checking. Sadly, there's not much I can do about this except dream of better days and hold off on joining worlds until the service glitches are decreased.
Let us know how things are going. We definitely want to support you!

Hi,
Yes, they all have their own accounts that usually (not always) are able to sign in. They are able to use their own worlds. We are all on the same network and running the same software versions. Just every few minutes, everyone gets kicked out and has to rejoin the world. This is easy enough but far too frequent and disruptive to the activities I am running.

We think this may be due to WebSocket's. If any have been implemented, please take a look at those. We also have a hotfix coming soon that is supposed to help with this issue.
