same wifi to join host?

I am doing a Maths project where we can work at house but i cant cant because that "problem" I really dont understand why do we need to connect from the same wifi, can I desactivate that or no?

  Hi Hugo - as long as you and other users have Office 365 accounts from the same tenant, which would normally be a school or a school district, you should be able to connect on the same wifi.  This guide explains how to join a multiplayer guide in more detail:  https://educommunity.minecraft.net/hc/en-us/articles/360047555531
