My kids have just been instructed to use this for school, can you please direct me to the Linux desktop download?

  Sorry - There are some ways but might not work under linux (there is no official linux version)

  :- Download the windows one (not Store) and try to run it under wine / playonlinux

  :- run windows or macos in a virtual machine (virt-manager, libvirt, kvm)

  :- run windows in a dual boot

  Also wouldn't expect microsoft to support that

  The installation wizard asks you to choose a folder and you can't choose anything that isn't the C folder. The linux root folder isn't there, so there's no way to install it there (to my knowledge).
