Setting up Minecraft for EDU issues with all students having educator access

Good morning, 

We are setting up Minecraft for Education for our district for the first time. As we are setting up groups of staff and seperate groups of students, it seems that no matter what, the students are getting the same access are the staff. How do we change this?

  We are a newer MINECRAFT school district with 4000 student users, and from what we can tell they have the same exact access that our teachers have that would be managing our students? We just want our students in the student grouping, and our teachers to have the educator access. I fully admit I am green in this area, and my lack of Minecraft experience has me concerned that students with educator access can cause issues within the product? We just want to assure that our teachers can do their lesson plans within the products, build out their classes, and not have students manipulate any of that. Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong or missing something?
