Teleport Station Works for Me, Not Students

I have no difficulty teleporting between the build stations I've created for my students, but the students cannot teleport.  I'm using the command block and oak pressure plate (and it works with the oak button too for me) with Impulse setting, but there's no result with the students.  I've switched command from gamemode adventure to gamemode creative, and have even tried with world set to creative at start and students in as members (not visitors), but there's no success.  What am I doing wrong?  Again it works for me (as operator).

  OK, got it!  I used the command:  /ability @a worldbuilder true

  All set now.
