Playing a MCEE world on MC Bedrock

My friends and I have played on this Minecraft education world for months, but our school is ending the license. I have a backup of the world, but when I try to run it in Bedrock, I get an error saying it was last run in Education Edition. Is there any way to bypass this? A way to edit the data? It would mean a lot as I would hate to lose the progress that we have made and the memories. I'll take any way to recover anything from the world.

  Hi there Quinn P. I'm sorry to hear your school is ending their license. While Bedrock and Education Edition worlds are not compatible with each other, you can back up your worlds by following the steps on this link:
