How Can a player or a friend join your game
Every time a friend of mine try’s to join there is an error it also happens to me when I try to join their game even though I get the code right.

if you are in windows 10 open mc then restart computer then restart mc and join the world asap

When you open Minecraft Education edition and sign in (You Must Either pay or have a school login)
click play
and hit my worlds
click on one you want to play in
hit HOST when you load in it will be normal minecraft education edition but if you hit escape and go to the player menu it will show a join code you can take a screen shot of it and send it to your friends so they can join
if you want to join a world hit play click on JOIN WORLD and put in a code if its the right code for world you want to join it will say

(World Name)
[Join Now]

o try restarting minecraft or checking the version on the home screen yyou must be on 1.14.5 to multiplayer with other 1.14.5 players
