Can only join a world from home and not from school...

My students cannot join my world when we are at school. They are able to join from home. I have spoken to the IT department and they thought it was the school network/firewall but have been unable to resolve the issue. Both myself and the students networks are managed by our school. I have read a few posts about ot being able to join a world from home but works from school but I seem to have the opposite problem...any suggestions?

  Hello Dave Raphael Friedman,

  Thanks so much for posting. This sounds to me like your school network does not have port 19132 open or they have disabled P2P. Are you able to relay this back to your IT folks? If they want to troubleshoot further, can you please have them submit a ticket?

  Thanks for the prompt reply! I relayed this info to the IT guys and they have apparently done those things. To be honest I think they are reluctant to allow multiplayer games on the server. They ran one once in the past but made their own private server at the school they were running it in. Apparently, from what I can gather with the updates this is not possible anymore. I believe it is a firewall issue and will speak to them. Any advice on how to proceed is welcome though! I see so much potential to using Minecraft Education in school and would love to find a way to make it work. Thanks again!
