Students can enter world, but teacher cannot

All my students can start and enter each others worlds. However, I cannot start a world for them nor enter one of their worlds.

Please help!

  Usually a couple of culprits: 

  1) Are you using the same version of Minecraft Education Edition as the students? 

  2) Are you on the same wifi network as the students?

  Hi Dan,

   

  I made sure we all had the newest version. So that cannot be it. 

  As for #2, I am using the schools wifi, while my students are using their wifi at home. Would that cause an issue? All students are in different homes/locations.

  Ahh, that's a whole other ball of wax! 

  You may need to have some ports forwarded at your school (you'll need to talk to your IT staff). Here are some links that go into detail with what your IT guys will need to do:

  Setup a port forward in your router to allow incoming connections for multiplayer games, VOIP, DVR, and security cameras.
