chat commands issues with makecode

I created an onChat command code, then quit from the connected world and restarted it, but when i try to use my command, it has no effect. It is not even recognized as an actual command. What should i do?

p.s. i love MakeCode, but this problem really is frustrating

  Thanks for posting. You would need to re-launch Code Builder and open the project with the saved code.

  Hi Kyle. We have been dealing with the same issue but on the Informatic Lessons (Polar Bears and Turtles). And we cannot save the project on these lessons. Can you please support us on how to fix this?.

  yes, i have this problem to, and i cant re-lanch code builder or open the proyect because in the lessons madecode doesnt allow, thanks!

  In 2022 this is happening to me also on a Mac. I have been trying to run the circle builder code on a chat command. I cannot get it to run no matter what I call it. It states that it is unknown and please check that you have permission to use it. Trying to teach coding to students.

  I'm having a similiar issue.  I can't run code that I build in the code builder - no idea why.
