Mac Users Cannot Run Scripts

Hi, 

A Minecraft world has been developed for the students, when they try and enter the server and type in the correct code, the server is correctly identified however the message 

 

'The world you are trying to enter requires your device to run scripts. Your device doesn't support scripting at this time, so you can't join from this device.'

 

Is displayed for all Mac users and they cannot join, however it seems to be fine for Windows users. 

 

How can this be fixed?
