i am getting bored of the bedrock engine for education edition because the bedrock engine has been really lacking a lot of features that would be useful for teaching

  Unfortunately the Java edition is based on an entirely different code base so it's not possible to merge it with Minecraft: Education Edition.  If there are specific features of Java that you feel would help Educators teach in Minecraft: Education Edition, let us know!
