how do i sit down with out using the minecart on minecraft? and why cant we use our own skins on the education verison?

im wondering why cant we sit on minecraft with out using the minecart and crawl like in the Java edition? and is there a way to put my own custom skin on the education version? like the original one? and why?

i hope this will be in the new updates

  and i have a problem, on minecraft education i tried to add mods or furniture add ons nothing happen and i tried to follow some tutorials but it didnt work for me is there any way to fix it? or  can you guys please add the furniture set on the education version for a new update? in Christmas?

  I am pretty sure u cant add mods in this edition
