Unable to connect, but only for some students

I use MEE in two classes of 15 students. They are each devided into 3 groups, 5 pr group. I gave them my world on a usb stuck and one of the became host so the rest of the group could join him/her. In one of the classes this works without problem, and all students joins everytime we play in class. In the other class it is a problem every time we play. Often one of the three groups get to log in and play, while the to other groups cant connect to each others world. If I use my computer to host, they can all join, but not if any of them hosts. Which group that gets to connect changes from time to time, so there is no clear system for who has a problem each time we shall play. The two classes plays often right after another, but sometimes at the same time. The problem occurs either way, and always with the same class. They all have the same computer, downloaded the game at the same time, and are on the same internet (one wall between the classes), but have their own routers in the room.

  Hey there and thanks for reaching out. 

  My guess would be that there are different security settings on some of the student's computers. Even if one thing is not set up correctly on the computer's security/firewall it will block the game from connecting to multiplayer. I will link the IT admin guide for this and the list of URLs that need to be open to work.

  I will try that as soon as possible.

  But some of the students could join my game, but not other students' game. So could the problem be with the host' settings, not being able to host a game?

  Yes thats what it is sounding like, if they are able to join some worlds but not others then the host settings may need to be changed to allow for all the devices to connect.

  Not a problem! The link above has a list of router and computer firewall settings that need to be changed on all devices. Some devices may not have their security settings set up in a way that will allow the multiplayer access. Let me know if that works at all and I would also partner with the IT admin of the school to make sure these settings are implemented.
