Pupils unable to join my world

Hi,

We are having some problems with the Minecraft app.  The children in my class are having difficulty joining the world I am hosting. They are signing in with their hwb accounts and then one of three things are happening:

 

1. It takes them to the demo version with no possibility of joining the game I am hosting.
2. It says something went wrong and to check the internet connection, which is full bars on WiFi.
3. If they manage to get through to join the game, it says ‘unable to join the world’.

I have attached some pictures for you to see the problems.

 

It did work when we were last using in July.

 

Are you able to help with suggestions to fix the problems please?

  Good morning and thanks for reaching out with this. This can happen in multiplayer if the security settings on the devices are not set up correctly. In school's specifically you may need to have the IT admin grant access to some of our sites. I will link to the list of sites that need to be "whitelisted" on the devices. Let me know if it helps at all and if not we will start a technical support ticket for you.
