Student unable to trigger MakeCode commands
I have at least one student, possibly others, who can write code, follow tutorials, and generate content in MakeCode. However, after hitting the 'Play/Run' button and going into the Minecraft world, the chat commands are unable to trigger the code.
We have checked;
operator privileges (yes)
cheat commands (active)
code is accurate (yes)
login correct (yes)
ingame settings correct (yes)
MakeCode settings correct (yes)
Others can join the world, write code, and trigger it as normal. Student can join others' worlds, activate cheats and gain OPs, but not trigger codes. There's just something in that user's settings that prevent Code from being used through the chat window.
I haven't been able to track the issue, or find others with it online, and the support systems for both Educraft and MC are, honestly, not great in terms of ease of use, searchability, content or access.
Anyone got any tips on a fix for this?

I have seen this behavior on all student accounts at the District I work at. I will let you know if we can figure out what the culprit is.
