logging in

trying to log my son in after just downloading the app. it is not accepting his gmail account. say need to be a school account. went though  and set the account up with his school as directions ask to but it does not allow me to use his school email to log in on the app. what do i have to do for him to be able to use app

  Thanks for reaching out to us. To be able to play Minecraft: Education Edition you have to have a valid Office 365 Education account (which is typically purchased and given out by the school). It currently is the only way to utilize this game. Minecraft: Education Edition was designed to be used in a classroom led by educators. I will link some information below:
