Minecraft Education just..... disappeared
Hi,
Just returned from vacation and tried to open Minecraft Education on my work computer, only to find it's not there. It seems to have disappeared from every Windows computer in our office (we had had it installed on 4 different desktop machines). It is still there on two systems, a mac and a linux pc.
I checked the Control Panel, it doesn't show, I can only see Classroom Mode. I also checked in the Program Files folder, no sign of it. Our IT department claims that nobody did any work on our computers during the summer break.
Could there have been an update issue? Does anyone have any experience with this issue? I still have most of my work on my personal computer, but I had prepared some maps for a lesson I m planning on my work pc.

Thanks for reaching out to us. We have never heard of an issue like this before. My question would be have you tried to redownload the game at all and see if it is working properly? Let me know if this doesn't work and I will open a technical support ticket with you.

I did it and every time I try to reinstall it fails and terminates the installer. I can provide the log file if you'd like.
The computers are joined in a Domain, I don't know if that says anything about the issue..... And one more thing. The two systems where Minecraft didn't get deleted cannot enter worlds, due to being outdated.

The outdated part does make sense. You will need to update to the newest version 1.14.31. I am curious if the computers may have a firewall up from the system administrators that would indeed cause the installer to crash. If you could reach out to whomever the IT admin is and have him reach out with a tech support ticket I would love to start working on this in detail with you.

Adam. hello again,
I will contact our IT Admin and have him reach out.
I also post here a link to the log file that popped-up when the installation crashed, in case it helps find out the reason behind the error.
