Book and quill sharing

I would love (unless it already exists!) the ability to write in a book and quill and then share the written book with all students. Would love to /give or set a fixed slot with something I have prepared for them to read.

Possible?

  Hi Robert,
  I was wondering the same thing and found this neat trick -

  (written book + book and quill = copy of written book!) - If it doesn't work, try using a crafting table.
  
  I just did this and put copies of the written book (instructions for the task) in each players' chests. Hope this helps!

  So I was really hoping for way to quickly to this without having to make copies and then flying around and putting one in a chest for each student/group.
  No way of using a /command and-or a command block to distribute to the masses?
