Hi Maureen, we currently don't have an offer for M:EE for non-profits. For more information on eligibility, see the article here: https://education.minecraft.net/support/knowledge-base/eligibility-for-minecraft-education-edition/. 0 -
If nonprofit is STEM based what are alternatives in order to use this environment? 0 -
Hi Steven, apologies on the delay getting back to you. You would still need to have an Office 365 education account.

I am really interested in this too. I teach one day a week at a tiny independent school, We really want to run M:EE and have applied for Office 365 for Education but after nearly two months have heard nothing with no obvious way of contacting anyone about this. It seems a real shame not to make it easier to get M:EE out there for organisations, or even schools, that are slightly off the beaten track. 0 -
I am also very interested in this - I give science courses and would like to also teach programming using Minecraft. The Edu edition has special features for this - how can one access it? And yes, I do not qualify for any Edu-O365 account. It’s not about getting anything for free or cheaper - I am happy to pay for the licenses.
