In-game "update now" button that recognizes player is not on latest version

I know auto updates are great, and they sometimes work, but it would be great to have an 'Update Now' or check for updates or something button that students could press if their version does not align with their classmates or teachers.

  Yes PLEASE! Especially when our school board's are supposed to do the updates but don't have time and we have no recourse but to wait, unable to join multiplayer worlds anymore.

  Please add this! Our school district is slow to update our software, and many of our computers are on different versions, leading to conflicts. A single update button would be welcome.
