Increased edit functionality with boards & NPCs
Please consider increasing editing functions with boards, posters, and slates, as well as within the slash command line. Particularly the ability to select, copy, cut, and paste! Even the ability to copy/clone an entire written board or NPC with the text and/or links intact would help in the event that it needs to be moved to a new location and avoid having to start from scratch.

Copy paste NPCs would be awesome!

In the meantime, I use

Interesting! I can only get @s to register as defining "self" so it teleports me and no NPCs. How do you get it to recognize an NPC instead of "self"?

You can enter the command on the NPC under the advanced settings. If you click on the slider you can add text as a button that can be clicked to run the command.
@s will then act on the NPC

So, the original request was suggested 9 months ago, can you please put this forward so it comes through sooner rather than later?
Would save a tonne of time.

Selecting + copying/pasting are basic functions that I expect to have when interacting with text. It's a hassle when I am editing and naming world files, but this I can tolerate. When I am programming NPCs to execute multiple simultaneous commands it is a frustrating slowdown. I can paste into the field, but can't edit effectively within it. I switch back and forth between apps as a work around, but it isn't ideal.
What about on boards and signs? I want students to use them for writing, but they (and journals) should replicate word processors more closely to facilitate transitioning from one to the other. I also use boards and signs to communicate with students, but not having the cursor + copy tools limits how often I will, especially on the fly. It also makes it harder for students to explain their work asynchronously.
Also, smoother/faster text-to-speech would mean that lots of my students who need it the most, would actually use it.
