    Hi Wes,

    The message would seem to indicate that you are running an older version of Windows. If you use the Windows desktop download at the bottom of the page it should resolve the issue: https://education.minecraft.net/get-started/download/

    I'm having this problem on just 1 computer. Windows version 1703. Other machines running 1703 work fine.

    Can confirm that the desktop version does fix the problem. Not sure what other problems it will create.....

    Yep we are still on an old build, think we might need to roll back to 1.7

  • I am having the same issue. Have been downloading the Desktop version and it's working on all but 2 of our laptops. I've even uninstalled and tried again. Not sure what else to try.
