Minecraft EE Installation Issues

Hello I am having problems installing minecraft Education edition. When I try to download it on the main page for windows 10 whenever I try to use the launcher and click downloads it tells me "reason: download failed" I have also tried using the alternative download using the windows batch file, I run as administrator and sign in with admin credentials, the batch file starts running but then opens a windows powershell which then shows red text and immediately crashes. Please advise. I am an IT administrator trying to install this on multiple computers in a computer lab.

  Have you tried using the desktop download and pushing that way? Please submit a request if you need to further troubleshoot.
