how do I update minecraft

I have an outdated version of Minecraft Edu edition (1.9.3) and I need to update to the same version as everyone else (1.12.0). how do I do this?

  Depending on how your machine is setup, it should update with Windows. Otherwise you can find it on our webpage here: https://education.minecraft.net/get-started/download/
