Sign In "something went wrong please check your internet connection"

So my teacher lets me bring my school computer home. I connect to my home WiFi and try to sign into minecraft education edition. But then it shows me "something went wrong please check your internet connection". Thanks i am in 6th grade middle school AC Reynolds.
