Language issues

I am unable to change the language in Code Builder to Norwegian. I have tried both on the MakeCode homepage at the very bottom and through the language setting on the coding page. In both cases, it looks as if the screen is updating, but the buttons remain in English. This is true for every language. I have tried Danish, German and Spanish just to be sure.

 

The framework for MinecraftEE is in Norwegian, and the framework for Code Builder is "Kodebygger" which is correct in Norwegian, but the code itself remains stuck in English.

 

I need to use this with students on Friday so I am desperate for a good fix :)  Thanks in advance!

  Hello Laura,

  If you change the Main app setting language it should apply to MakeCode

  Update: Their appears to be an issue, and we have let the MakeCode team know.

  As I mentioned above, the main app is in Norwegian but that doesn't seem to affect MakeCode.  It does make the Code Builder framework in Norwegian.  It says "Kodebygger" not "Code Builder".  But the MakeCode system itself is in English and will not update to any other languages.
