MCWORLD files will not open: saved in newer version of minecraft error

I am trying to import a world that I have converted from a Windows 10 bedrock edition of Minecraft. I keep getting an error that the world was saved in a newer version of Minecraft and that it cannot open. Please help.

  Because the Bedrock version is on 1.16 and we are on 1.14 you cannot import worlds from Bedrock to the Education Edition of the game.

  Hello Emma,

  This would indicate that the game was saved in a different version of Bedrock. Go ahead and submit a request if you would like to troubleshoot further

  I just downloaded Minecraft Education and also have no application on my Mac to open the challenges downloads with "Mcworld" extensions.
