Bug: Concrete/Wool

I have several building plots for students with chests filled with items (don't want to give them access to everything in creative mode). Several of the chests are filled with different color wool & concrete. If I copy the world, export/import the world, or just save it and reopen it, all of these change from the original colors to white. Any suggestions? It's a huge pain having to clear these out and refill them for each class that uses the world.

  This is a problem for me too, but not just for exporting or copying the world. In creative, the carpets in my hotbar keep changing to white in when I open my world, though they were different colors before.
