Can I join a host that is one a different wifi-network?

Hi everyone,

Now that the coronavirus hits the whole world, the schools are in my country closed and we can’t go outside. This makes that I am very bored and I tried to play MCEE with my friends, but I seem to can’t join cause it keeps giving me the message: ‘can’t connent to worl’. From earlier experience have I learned that you can’t join a host if you are not on the same wifi-network. Is there a way to bypass this, or am I completely looking over some things. Please answer! I am very desperate.

note: I am playing on an IPad, and so are my friends.

  I have the same problem but i am on laptop and so are my friends.

  Hi CarrieD, 

  I already checked that and it seems to me that it is mainly focused on the version for a computer.
