Cannot Join Worlds, Sometimes
Had issues today where no one could join the teacher world but they could join each other's worlds. The message received was "You are not invited to play this server" and others would get "Disconnected from Server". All the machines are on the same switch and network subset.
All the machines were updated to Windows version 1709 OS build 16299.125 last week. Is there a Minecraft update that needs run too?

We had this issue in the past too. One problem we had on a few computers was that the Hyper-V role was added for some reason and made a gateway that gave an IP on a different network. The hyper-V network adapter had to be disabled and Minecraft had to be restarted.
Here is the checklist we made:
1. Make sure all logins are Office 365 accounts on same domain. (email@domain.com).
2. Make sure all computers are on the same network. (check the IP adresses to make sure).
3. Make sure all computers have the latest download of Minecraft Education Edition and that Minecraft Education Edition is installed as administrator.
4. Make sure all users have unique player names. (Player name is the accounts first name + first letter of their last name). (Fred Flintstone = FredF).
5. Open a world on one computer and make it multiplayer.
6. On the other computers, connect on the "friends" tab if it is player is visible there or add it as a server. The server name is what ever you want to call it. The server host/IP is the IP address of the computer with the open multiplayer-world. The port is the default that is visible when adding a server.
Hope it helps.0 -
It looks like our lab PCs are pulling a range of IPs from 192.268.3.X through 192.168.5.X - would this be enough of a difference to cause problems? 0 -
