Students join world with OP status
We have been having an issue where students are joining a world and are inherently granted Operator status. I have tested this with an account that has never joined the world/never launched MEE and they join with the OP privilege. I want to be able to have all users, except for 1-2 accounts to have OP status on the world, however it appears when the world is shut down for a backup or device restart the OP status of players is reset, and sometimes the player’s position and inventory in the world is reset.
I have run /deop @a, but this only impacts on currently connected users.

Hi Mike,
Thanks for posting. Are you sure that all of the students have "student" Office 365 accounts?

Hi Kyle,
Yes I am sure all students have O365 accounts and have licences applied to their accounts. All of the students are able to launch and run the game.
My understanding is that if the students did not have O365 accounts they would not even be able to login to launch it.
Is the normal operation of a server/world to have players join with an Operator status by default?

Hi Mike,
I did some tinkering with this today. And it appears that the issue happens when a student joins a world that is a "copy". If you were to take the world export, and the import the issue should cease.
This is a bug and we are working to resolve.
Thanks!
Kyle

Hi Kyle,
Thanks, exporting and reimporting appears to have done the trick, thanks for the assistance.
Cheers,
Mike.
